Several rebel zoanthropes are thrown into a battle with the ZLF and Gado with the fate of the world at their hands.Įventually, it is revealed that the ZLF's supposed "leader", Shenlong, is actually a puppet under the control of Hajime Busuzima, who masquerades as the group's right-hand man. Meanwhile, Alan Gado, a figure known for promoting understanding between zoanthropes and humans, becomes a fugitive for an unclear reason. The conflict gives birth to an organization called the Zoanthrope Liberation Front, or ZLF for short, which espouses zoanthrope supremacy, threatening both humans and non-member zoanthropes alike.
With the revelation of the zoanthropes' existence being made and known full well to the world, tensions and hostilities between humans and zoanthropes start to rise at an alarming and dangerous rate. However, the peace does not last long as a new threat emerges. Sometime later, Uriko notices Kenji on his bike, remembering him from the ZLF incident and talks to him, then she asks for a lift on his bike. Having returned the favour of rescuing her, the two returned home together. In a holding cell, she finds Mitsuko and hugs her tearfully, glad to be reunited. After a hard training, she parts Long's company to go and find her mother and affront with his master Shenlong, the leader of the Mitsuko's abductors. In order to gain the strength she needs, she seeks out Long, who is a renowned martial artist. She is too weak to fight these foes, they'd easily defeated her mother who is known to be one of the strongest Zoanthropes. The force is too much and her transformation stops halfway in the form of a cat. Unfortunately, the experiments that were performed on Uriko those five years ago has left lasting effects on her ability to transform. Uriko, angry, decides to transform and defeat her mother's abductors. The leader easily floors the powerful Mitsuko and they abduct her.
